Travelling

The choice of transport vehicle when going to a nature reserve can greatly affect your experience. Some are more convenient and appropriate than others. Each will have different positive reasons to use them.
Personal Car
This vehicle gives the driver their own freedom to travel. They can enter and leave the nature reserve whenever they want. There will usually be enough parking spaces for cars. However, this may not always be the case during the busiest times of the year.
Tour Bus
The great thing about paying for a tour is that not only will you get to sit back and relax during the journey. You will also have a guide to show you around the best parts of the reserve. Plus you get to meet interesting people and make new friends.
Camper Van
A camper van is not just a transportation vehicle. It is also a shelter where you can cook, eat and sleep. It saves having to put up a tent and is a much better choice for keeping out the elements. On the other hand, some nature reserves are not suitable for vans. This will limit the amount of reserves you will be able to visit.
Bicycle
A bike is by far the healthiest option. You get to explore the great outdoors, be one with nature and get some exercise at the same time. One issue with bicycles is that they are banned on many nature trails. Riders will also be restricted by their own stamina. Not many people are capable of pedalling for miles and miles all day without becoming exhausted. This will affect your enjoyment of the nature reserve and potentially cause dehydration.
